The purpose of Intermission with the Pros is three-fold:
To guide, educate and inspire performing arts professionals/ aspiring professionals

Established professional artists to junior high aspiring artists - actors, singers, dancers & arts educators - will receive guidance in bettering their craft, leveraging technology and/or pivoting toward other creative endeavors to build and sustain them until live arts are running again.
To learn from, highlight & support the mission of our favorite PROS

Our PROs, experts in their fields, share knowledge, perspective and skill sets to fellow professionals and pre-professionals during a time when many have time to work on their craft. We want to facilitate connections and create beauty and community during this great pause.

Our world's school teachers are some of our most valuable assets and are the touchstone for many of our children, never more so than now. The goal of IWTP is to support our children's teachers by offering resources for integrating arts education into their typical lesson plans, giving joy and catharsis to students while maintaining curriculum goals.
Resources will include trauma-informed arts education, universal design for learning
and arts for inclusion.

It's a crucial time for the world to be surrounded by art, immersing ourselves to allow growth & healing. Unfortunately, the limbo of holding live performances can cause us to abandon our endeavors until they are available again.
