Founder's Note

Hey friends,

I've had to pivot more than once in my career.

When I had two babies under three years old, I pivoted away from the stage and found myself teaching in the Young Americans College of the Arts voice classroom as well as producing live events.

Then there was the time, after a prolonged illness, I was unable to speak or sing.  I didn't know what I would do.  Then a friend suggested I use my voice to begin writing and pivot/turn later became a published author.

Once my voice was back, pivot/turn/ball change/kick,

I was asked to bring all of these skills together as a master teaching artist.

At long last, I thought I was "home" at Disneyland and other premiere arts educational sites,

teaching students from all over the world.

Then the pandemic hit and here I am....pivoting again.

I don't mean to make light of these stages of change.

With each there has been loss and pain in one form or another.

But just like a seed being planted, the darkness exists to allow the seed to take root and grow.

Growth cannot take place without it.

And though I have often felt like a "Jill of all trades, master of none," these various skills have led me here...

to this point in history...

and to YOU.

We are all having to re-invent ourselves in order to keep our doors open AND, more importantly, keep the arts alive!

We need community now more than ever.

We need the arts during this intermission from live events.

I've had to pivot before...and now I'm here to help you do so as well.

So whether you are an arts professional/aspiring professional looking to hone your craft or learn a new, marketable skill...

Or a middle/elementary school student wanting to express yourself and flex those artistic muscles in a safe, inclusive place...

Or an educator looking to share the gift of the arts in your classrooms to help your students during this time of physical distance...

Welcome!

Thanks for joining us here.

We can't wait to foster connections and inspire you to explore new possibilities.

We can't wait to watch what you'll accomplish after working with the PROS.

My best...stay safe...
