FRINGE the MUSICAL
Musical Workshop Series
Fringe the Musical follows the lives and histories of six characters, all considered on the "fringe" of society. This dramedy endeavors to open the minds and hearts of its audience to the idea that things are seldom what they seem on the surface. It does so with lavish musical numbers, poignant lyrics, contemporary music styles and over the top, irreverent, comedy.
The FtM Workshop Series is a chance for people from all walks of life to tell their stories; explore healing through the arts and contribute to a lasting body of work. Participants will create and perform monologues using their stories as inspiration as well as contributing to the social understanding of the creative team and the artistic vision of a full-length musical. Workshops are from 3-6 weeks in length, once weekly for 90 minutes. Workshops will be conducted virtually through 2021. 2022 will have live and virtual choices. Each character will be explored individually so as to create a safe and nurturing place for every participant.
